After 25 years of service to the Pequannock Police Department, Pequannock Township and its citizens, tomorrow marks the end of Sergeant George Lane’s Law Enforcement career.
During his 25 year career, Sergeant Lane served in the Patrol Division as a Patrolman, in the Traffic Bureau as a Traffic Officer and as a Traffic/Community Services Bureau Sergeant.
Sgt. Lane also served as the department’s Field Training Officer Coordinator, Firearms Instructor, SRT Officer and one time PBA President. He is also regarded as a relentless worker and someone who brought a great sense of humor to the job every day.
He will be missed but we wish him the best of luck in his next endeavor.
