Where we show up.

The events you'll see us at, year after year.

We take the field against the Morris County Patriots — a Special Olympics softball team — for nine innings of friendly competition. Bring a chair. Cheer for both sides.

August

National Night Out

The Chief's in the dunk tank. We've got the grill going. Bring the kids — they get the bounce house. The easiest way to meet your local PD.

Quarterly
Year-round
Coffee With A Cop

Local coffee, local officers, no agenda. Just a chance to chat with the people who patrol your neighborhood. Dates posted on Facebook.

October
Annual · Fall
Trunk or Treat

We decorate cruisers, dress up (yes, as Sandlot characters one year), and hand out candy in a safe lot. One of the highlights of fall in Pequannock.

Oct – Dec
Annual · Winter
Toys for Tots

Drop a new, unwrapped toy at HQ any time, day or night. We'll get it to a kid who needs it. The Grinch helps load the truck.

December
Annual · Holiday
Holiday gift cards

Every December, ShopRite gift cards go out to Pequannock families who could use a little extra. No paperwork. No publicity. Just a card in a hand.

Summer
Junior Police
Academy
Annual · Summer · Signups open
Junior Police Academy

A week-long summer program for local kids who want to see what police work is really like. K-9 demos, traffic stops, investigations. Demystifying the badge.

Annual
Annual fundraiser
PBA 172 Tricky Tray

Packed banquet hall. Hundreds of attendees. Dozens of prizes from local businesses. Funds our scholarships and community programs. A great night out.

October

In October, we swap our standard patches for pink ones and raise money for breast cancer research. A cause that's touched our department personally.

November

Annual · November
Movember — mustaches for a cause

Our officers grow mustaches (some better than others) to raise money for men's health — prostate cancer, mental health, suicide prevention.

June
PHS Scholarship
Presentation
Annual · June
PHS Scholarship presentation

Every spring we award scholarships to graduating Pequannock High School seniors continuing their education. Our favorite ceremony of the year.

Dates and registration windows confirmed each spring. Follow us on social for the latest.

Get involved

Four ways to show up.

1
Attend an event. Most of what we do is open to the public. Just come out. Bring the kids.
2
Sponsor. Back the golf outing or another event as a business. Great visibility — and it directly funds the community.
3
Donate a raffle prize. Gift cards. Local experiences. Services you provide. Products. If it's giftable, we'll raffle it.
4
Spread the word. Share our Facebook and Instagram posts. Tell a neighbor. Word of mouth matters more than you think.
